Gianluca Gazzola, Ph.D. - R&D Project Coordinator
Gianluca completed his PhD in Molecular Sciences at the University of Padova in 2026, focusing on variuos controlled radical polimerization systems applied to both dispersed phase and solution polymerization processes.
He has been working at AMETHYST LAB since its founding, where he coordinates all R&D projects and external collaborations.

Rachele Foladore - Ph.D. student
Rachele obtained her Master’s degree in Chemistry in 2024, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of poly(2-oxaz(ol)ine)s based polymers as alternatives to polyethylene glycol (PEG).
She is currently enrolled as a Ph.D. student in Molecular Sciences at the University of Padova, where she is working on the development of new water-soluble (bio)degradable polymers. Her Ph.D. project is fully funded by AMETHYST LAB.
